MyDoorHQ ("we," "us," or "our") is a property management software platform operated by CTR Homes LLC, based in the United States. We provide tools that help small landlords manage tenants, collect rent, track maintenance, and communicate with tenants through automated systems.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of MyDoorHQ, including landlords who subscribe to the platform ("Landlord Users") and tenants who interact with the platform's communication tools ("Tenants").

By using MyDoorHQ, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

SMS & Text Messaging

MyDoorHQ sends automated SMS messages to tenants on behalf of landlords who use the platform. This section describes our SMS program in full.

Message Types

Through the MyDoorHQ platform, the following types of SMS messages may be sent to tenants:

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on tenancy activity. Tenants may receive 1โ€“8 messages per month depending on rent cycles and maintenance activity. Message and data rates may apply.

How Tenants Are Enrolled

Tenants are enrolled in SMS communications when their landlord adds their phone number to the MyDoorHQ platform. Landlords are responsible for informing tenants that they will receive automated notifications via MyDoorHQ as part of the tenancy. Consent is also implied when a tenant calls a landlord's MyDoorHQ virtual number, at which point the AI assistant informs them they may receive a follow-up confirmation text.

How to Opt Out

Tenants can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message received from a MyDoorHQ number. After opting out, you will receive one confirmation message and no further messages will be sent.

To re-enable messages after opting out, reply START to the same number.

SMS Service Providers

SMS messages are delivered through Twilio, Inc. Message delivery is subject to carrier availability and is not guaranteed. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Phone Calls & AI Call Assistant

Pro and Portfolio subscribers receive a dedicated virtual phone number powered by Twilio. Calls to this number are handled by an AI-powered call assistant powered by Vapi.

Call Recording & Transcription

Calls to MyDoorHQ virtual numbers may be recorded and transcribed for the purpose of generating a call summary for the landlord. By calling a MyDoorHQ virtual number, callers consent to this recording and transcription.

The AI assistant will identify itself as an automated assistant at the start of every call. Callers are not speaking with a live person.

Call Data

Call recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated summaries are stored and associated with the landlord's account. This data is used only to provide the call summary service and is not shared with third parties except as described in Section 6.

Emergency Calls

MyDoorHQ virtual numbers are not emergency services lines. If you have a life-threatening emergency, always call 911 or your local emergency services directly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address on your account) and by posting a notice on the MyDoorHQ dashboard at least 7 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of MyDoorHQ after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made.
